Let say they had about 3.5 grams of cocaine and they were arrest once before for cocaine.So would it be the persons second offense?

if they are a celebrity not much.any regular person you will probaly do 3-5 years in the big house court costs and fees and probation and rehab and community service.good luck.

Three point five grams is enough weight to charge the person with possession with the intent to distribute. If you have a prior conviction you will go to jail and not collect your two hundred dollars.

As much as Phoenix was great. Philip Seymour Hoffman who won that year, was by the far the best. Hell, Phoenix wasn’t even second best imo, Ledger for Brokeback Mountain would’ve got my vote ahead of Phoenix.

I don’t mean to undermine Jamie Foxxs’ performance in Ray, it was incredible. Yet the film was not as good as Walk the Line and Pheonix sung all the songs unlike Foxx. Joaquin Phoenix engaged me so much more emotionally. As good as Jamie Foxx was no one can beat Joaquin Phoenix! He is just so wonderful to watch!
