I just watched Scarface, and I was wondering about the end. Obviously that is all Hollywood, but would someone on a cocaine binge be able to take gunshot wounds anything remotely like that? I mean I know that coke is an anesthetic and is a vasoconstrictor, which would definitely numb pain and slow bleeding. Plus the strong stimulant effects could possibly get you hyped up enough to keep going.

It would definitely make the bullets easier to take. Coke was actually used as a pain killer for eye surgeries way back in the day i believe.

cocaine constricts blood vessels very well. It would be hard to bleed out. Just remember the last scene in scarface. He did a lot of cocaine then got shot about a hundred times before it could kill him.

@2560nidau Well, as it states at the start of the video, I’m guessing it’s in the mountainous region in the Peruvian Andes(which I’m pretty sure that’s where the video is mostly comprised from) – anymore deeper in the local town of the Andes, then you’ll have to Google it, or find another resource.
