How long can cocaine effect you for? Can some people get a bad downer from cocaine use?

I tried cocaine for the first time 2 days ago. I havent slept since but yet i feel exhausted. I took a stupid amount of alcohol along with the coke which is probably causing me more problems. I have very little appetite although I have forced down a couple of small meals. Is this a normal reaction or could I just be being paranoid? I didnt take all that much. How long is it normal to feel rough for?

a day or two, however drugs effect different people in different ways. I hate coke cause it makes me feel like I lost my best friend the next day or something…I mean you just feel like you lost part of your soul or something, and just maybe you do.

What you are listing is a withdrawal symptom that all coke users go through every time to varying degrees.

Withdrawal symptoms can include irritability, anxiety, restlessness, physical pain, insomnia, depression, paranoia, or aggression as the drug’s effects wear off.

These get worse as you continue use. I talked to a manager of my restaurant (and friend) the day after his first snort, where he described the high. From there, I watched him go from being the best manager (and a great friend) I’d ever had to a moody, uncaring, worthless slug within two months of light, continued use. When it came time for him to be fired, the former Peace Corps volunteer left screaming, cursing, and throwing furniture.
